All of the above were taken in April at the Key West Butterfly Conservatory. It was a nice surprise to see more than just butterflies there. These birds were flying all over the conservatory, eating all of the snacks that were strategically placed near the path. Except for the flamingos of course. They were wading in a pond in the middle. I had not finished editing all of the pictures from the trip until recently so I’m finally getting around to posting these bright-colored beauties.
Yes they certainly are all beauties.
Gorgeous birds and gorgeous photography!
Happy Week to you,

Such rich colors, I wonder if they were a bigger highlight than the butterflies.
Well, I learned something today. Never would I have thought about birds being in a butterfly house. I have been in many, but there have been no birds. So glad they get along so well. The colors are magnificent. This is a beautiful post. Can’t wait to see your next one.
Great photos of the birds, all in such detail and vivid colors.
Gorgeous bird photos!

Oh wow, these are just lovely shots. What a treat to get so up close and personal with our feathered friends. They all look so foreign and exotic to me.
Love the shots of the flamingos the most, but all of them turned out beautifully.
Gorgeous photos!

I love how you see beautiful birds everywhere you go! And how beautifully you photograph them!
What stunning photos of those gorgeous birds.
Beautiful photos!
Very cool portraits. I like the idea of birds frolicking in a butterfly. Good for the humans for letting them be there.
