Chickens and roosters were everywhere. Roaming the streets and making noise. We happened to be there during baby chick season. I counted 6 different baby chick families along the streets. They were in empty lots, parking lots, walking down Duval Street. I’ve read several different stories about why they are running amuck around Key West. I was expecting to see more cats. We only saw a few. The dogs in the above were hanging out in a hat store. A lot of stores had pets.I guess that’s part of the charm of this little town.
That must have been lovely seeing all the chicks running around.
The baby chickens are adorable. I remember seeing the chicks running around there. The kitties are cute, but I love the last yellow labrador doggie.. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
I remember a lot of chickens and roosters. And parrots. I only remember one dog who was wearing sunglasses and a neckerchief while his owner played the violin or something with the case open. (The dog was making all the money, the man didn’t have to even be there.)
