Someone is leaving bird seed along the boardwalk at Chesnut Park.
I think the squirrels eat most of it.
Lots of little gators under the dock.
It was close to Easter.
A northern parula trying to hide from me.
A tiny grasshopper. Soon central Florida will be over run with these guys.
I’ve never seen a grasshopper that looks like that – ours are greenish or dusty brown. Now you have me wondering how many species of grasshoppers exist!!

fascinating natural spectacle of animals! beautiful photos!
Magnificent photos!! Thank you! Wishing you a grand week!!
Very nice collection of critters!
The much-maligned grackle can look so handsome in the right light. I would love the young Lubber Grasshopper more if I didn’t know what it will grow up to be – a nuisance! Still nice to look at, even as adults.
Thank you for sharing all these beauties, Dina!
So cool! We have lots of grasshoppers in Kentucky, too!
Nice photos!especially the parula peek
Gorgeous captures!
These are beautiful shots of wildlife, but I think that crocodile is a little too close for comfort! 🙂
