We were getting a lot of fog in the mornings in early January. I made a trip to the nearby Oldsmar pier for a quick walk. I felt like I was walking in a cold shower as I walked out on the pier.

Land looked a little blurry from the end of the pier.

The very end of the pier was still fenced off since the hurricanes took out the tip of it. I have heard that the city recently repaired it and the end is open again so I’ll have to check it out soon. Looking out over the water I couldn’t see land across the inlet.

The sun tried to peak out but then it got foggier.

Birds all lined up in the fog as I stopped at a store on the way home.

The fog can be eerie! I drive students to school and some mornings, not able to see the house from the end of the driveway. My route is rural and the driveways can be 1/4 mile or longer.
I enjoyed your narrations with your images. I came from ES #124 Wordless Wednesday.

I do love a foggy morning. I’m also glad to hear Oldsmar fixed the pier. It’s been a while since I was there.
Wow, these are wonderful. I love how the foreground and the sky blend perfectly so you can’t tell where one ends and the other begins!
I love photos of docks and boardwalks, especially in the fog.
These are great.
The fog and birds are beautiful.
fog is such an interesting element in photography…..I love the pier shot with leading lines heading into the fog.
I enjoy looking at foggy images.
