Prothonotary warblers nest at this park so you can usually find a few around the boardwalk.

A very young bird. I think this is a blue gray gnatcatcher. I’ve heard they nest near the nature center here.

I got the shivers looking at the wasp nest after getting swarmed by yellow jackets not long ago – one got stuck in my hair and one in my shirt. I took off running while beating myself in the head! NOT an experience I’d care to repeat!
