It doesn’t look like fall here until late January or early February. And then days later the spring buds start popping out.
Chowing on something.
Curious deer.
Pretty pied grebe.
A quiet morning at Chesnut Park in mid-February.

Great close up captures… I love the read of the wood vine.

I like how the bird makes rings in the water and the how vine strings itself up the tree like a necklace.
Love to see your animals photos. They make me smile (and inspire me to be more outdoors).
great wildlife photos #wordless wednesday
Absolutely stunning! Makes me want to get outside with my camera too.
The deer are precious. Enjoy the weather while it’s still cooler:)
I need to put this park on my list for our next trip up that way. This last one was way too short, we hardly had enough time to go through Circle B.
Smiling at your description of the odd “seasons” here — I hardly notice any changes at all, though after eight seasons I’m starting to pick up on some subtle changes at Spring. Not much though.
I lke the way in the last shots that grebe is looking up at you.
Beautiful series of photos.
