The birds were not plentiful this trip. The only thing I saw was some cardinals on the feeder. I was hoping to see some migrating birds but even the usual painted buntings had left.
I wanted to get out for a road trip in July so I headed to Bok Tower Gardens in central Florida. It was hot, it was quiet and not many birds there but, I was outside walking around. Everything was blooming and there was lots of color so I had a lot of things to take pictures of.
Flowers and plants from Bok Tower Gardens in central Florida in mid-March. Around here things bloom early if not all year round. I have not seen the dark orange sunflowers there before. I think those were my favorite. A bad storm had come through the state the night before and I thought I might get rained out but the next morning the sun was up so I headed out. Everything looked bright and damp.
