“Greeting cards have all been sent….”
“The Christmas rush is through….”
“But I still have one wish to make….”
“A special one for you….”
“Merry Christmas, bloggers….”
“We’re apart that’s true….”
“But I can dream, and in my dreams….”
“I’m Christmasing with you…”
The above lyrics were written by Richard Carpenter, sung by his sister Karen. This was one of my mom’s favorite Christmas songs.
On a cold night last week (around 60 degrees!) I headed out to the Florida Botanical Gardens in Largo to see the holiday light show there. The gardens were full of lights and this is just a small sampling. They have carolers singing and a Mr. and Mrs. Klaus there as well. I only stayed about an hour but people were pouring in to the gardens when I left. That’s one of the best things about Christmas in central Florida, you can be outside at night without bundling up. Only a light jacket required.
I want to wish all my fellow bloggers a great holiday and thank everyone for stopping by all year. I hope it’s been entertaining and I’m still looking out for new birds.
