It was very quiet on my walk around the Botanical Gardens in Largo in late August. I did manage to find a few fun critters hanging around in the heat.
Love all these critter photos–I have managed to get some of them myself here in FL–
the one is a Green Heron–which I got one day–in reading about them they say they are hard to get photos of–they hide mostly–( 4th photo from top) and one day I was lucky enough to get a photo of 2 pileated woodpeckers on the same tree (it was actually on my 68th birthday this year) they say that is hard to do too–

I feel I can almost reach out and touch the critters you’ve photographed with such clarity but I know if I tried they would all skittle or fly away. 🙂
