Lots of little critters buzzing around at Lettuce Lake in August.
Not many birds but I did see a juvenile northern parula and a red-eyed vireo.
This was the last time I saw the swallow-tail kites, in mid-August. One was flying over the boardwalk. They all left town to head south for the winter.
Haha … these beautiful little birds and bugs are smart enough to know when to leave town. Lucky they have wings to take them to perpetual better weather. 🙂
So beautiful
The insect world fascinates me. I don’t recognize the first one – he’s especially interesting. Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2018/10/master-potter.html
Those kites!! I saw a few before we left Florida last Spring, but am ever fast enough to get a picture! Loved this one. And all your critters. Hope you don’t get too wet from the storm’s edges.
