Painted ladies in the park

Brett and I stopped by City Park in downtown Denver before heading on to our next stop after visiting Red Rock Amphitheater. Right when we got out of the car I noticed the plants were covered in the these butterflies. There were hundreds of them. We must have been there during a big migration. I rarely see Painted Lady butterflies around my home so I took a ton of pictures of them.

There were lots of bees as well as a few monarch butterflies in the mix.
