A quiet morning at Chesnut Park

I got to Chesnut park early on a Saturday morning. It was drizzling when I got there so there was only a few other people there. It didn’t look like it was going to pour but the clouds were not going away. Since there were few people at the park, the deer were out on the roads grazing and hanging out. I parked and got out and walked around and they did not seem to mind me there. They barely glanced my way. Maybe they are getting use to me now. Maybe they even have a nickname for me “Crazy lady with the black box”.

Was he eating something or saying his prayers?   “Hawk please don’t get me.”

The only flower blooming in the butterfly garden. No butterflies out this  morning.

  1. These are such a delightful series of photos Dina and thank you very, very much for sharing them with Today’s Flowers. The deer have the sweetest faces, and that is such a cute pose from the squirrel. The flower is gorgeous!

We have had snow today but it was only a flurry, so far, and didn’t stick. Have a great week 🙂
