I got to Chesnut park early on a Saturday morning. It was drizzling when I got there so there was only a few other people there. It didn’t look like it was going to pour but the clouds were not going away. Since there were few people at the park, the deer were out on the roads grazing and hanging out. I parked and got out and walked around and they did not seem to mind me there. They barely glanced my way. Maybe they are getting use to me now. Maybe they even have a nickname for me “Crazy lady with the black box”.
Was he eating something or saying his prayers? “Hawk please don’t get me.”
The only flower blooming in the butterfly garden. No butterflies out this morning.
These are such a delightful series of photos Dina and thank you very, very much for sharing them with Today’s Flowers. The deer have the sweetest faces, and that is such a cute pose from the squirrel. The flower is gorgeous!
We have had snow today but it was only a flurry, so far, and didn’t stick. Have a great week 🙂
Sweet deer! Hoping that you were not in the storm’s way this morning (I’m writing on Sunday evening). I am so ready for a return to the Florida winter weather we know and love.
lovely to see the deer and the squirrel is so darn cute. Interesting flower which I have not seen before.
Love your photo series. I love seeing the deer in our parks; they are the most amazing, gentle creatures; not a big fan of them foraging through my garden.
Such beautiful deer. What a peaceful place. Loved the “praying” squirrel too. And that flower macro…wow!
That is a really interesting shot of the flower
Gorgeous pictures!
