Shorebirds I found hanging around the beach near the fishing pier at Fort Desoto.

  1. Poor turnstone…thee was a dove around here a couple of years with a mangled foot. Makes one sad. Beautiful photos! The bill on the skimmer looks so oversized for his body, but I bet he gets a good meal with it!
