I was sitting on the couch watching tv and got up to get something to drink. I saw movement outside in front of the dock out of the corner of my eye. I yelled “Baby ducks’ and ran and grabbed my camera. As I ran out to the dock, the babies got closer. They swam around the dock for a few minutes with mom before heading down the channel. As cute as they were, I was not going to feed them. They get more than enough treats from the neighbors. I usually have several families come by in the spring but this was the only one so far. And now it’s August 1st and spring is long gone. Although, I may get a late summer family still.
It is lovely to have wildlife that you can see from your home. Lovely shots.
