Fort Desoto fishing pier – Skywatch Friday

“She doesn’t have a fishing pole.”

“I caught one this big.”

“Hey guys, there’s fish in the bucket.”

“I think I can get that one in the bottom.”

I headed out to Fort Desoto on the Saturday morning after thunderstorm Debby had left. The north beach had been closed most of the week while they cleaned up the park. I stopped by the fishing pier to see if there was anything unusual there. On my last trip I saw a sea turtle so I was keeping my hopes up to see one again. No turtle this trip but the dolphins were plentiful as usual. After the pier I headed up to the north beach. More on that later.

Beautifully captured wildlife. Love the little windswept bottom of the white bird inspecting the bucket. Your captures are great, too!
